NHPC to Commence Commercial Operations of Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project’s Second Unit on December 23

The National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC), a state-owned power producer in India, has announced that it will begin commercial operations of the second unit of the Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project on December 23.

This project, with a total capacity of 2,000 megawatts, is one of the largest hydroelectric power initiatives in the country.
